XCU8

General purpose electronic control unit (ECU) / vehicle control unit (VCU) designed for safety critical automotive applications

Coming Soon! Product is still in active development, so some details and specifications may change prior to release

Simulink® models and custom embedded code can be deployed independently to its two logical
processing cores. One core comprises of two physical cores operating in lock-step, supporting higher
functional safety integrity levels.

GEMS provide tooling for ASAM A2L file generation from custom source code, ASAM standardized XCP
calibration and measurement, and simulation of the XCU8 on Windows platforms.

The XCU8 is an evolution of the GEMS EM80-M, with a focus on functional safety, cybersecurity and
open communication standards. Its hardware is designed to meet ISO-26262 compliance requirements
