Hi,

Evo 7, EEPROM Lancer8 S2.80. Is there a way to set the engine rev limiter to be different for each transmission gear?
I want, for example, to be able to go to 7500 RPM in 1st gear, whereas in 5th, say I want 6000.

Is this possible?

Hi Karl,

Sorry but is not a feature we have ever included in any of units. In some units you can set lights based on gear position but not the rev limit.

In the Lancer8 S2.80 the Rev limit can either be Fuel, ignition cut or a ignition retard limit. If you look in the tables in GWv4 you will find tables named.

Rev I Limit L table: Ignition cut based Rev Limit Vs TPS for Launch mode.
Rev I Limit N table: Ignition cut based rev limit Vs TPS for normal mode.
and Rev I Limit table: Ignition Cut based rev limit in Anti-lag mode.

Similarly the Rev F tables are fuel cuts and the Rev rtd's are ignition retards.

Its on a evo 9,so if i wanna adjust the rev cut i will just need to look at rev I Limit N table is that right?
