Hi,
I got some problems with most recent laptops for Uploading setup in old DA10 loggers ( Use on Subaru Gra ). I use the "Disp" program and the following MS Dos promt:
C:/disp/disp com1 none 700 slow
then, I choose menu "2"
then "alt + F4"
then the file name and "enter"
the stream begin and quickly the message "upload complete tape r to return" apears but nothings hapens and the logger is not programing.

When I use somes very old laptops, the programming time is mutch longer but I don't have this problem.
Do you have somes solution to use moderns laptops for Uploading this kind of logger ?
May be the Upload delay needs to be modified but whitch values ?

Best regards

Hi jeanmi,

The problem comes from DISP being a very old DOS program .

It is incapable of running properly under windows XP.

One solution we have used in the past is to system format a floppy drive with DISP files on and the run from there just for the setup upload.

Its very clunky but will work.

To make a DOS floppy:
-Insert a blank floppy disk.
-In windows explorer, right click on the floppy drive and click format
-Select the option 'Create MS-DOS Startup Disk'.
-Click start.
-Copy the DISP folder onto the floppy.
-Done!

Regards
